Talabgaon Castle, Vijay Mahal which stands today was built in 1900 by Thakur Shri Vijay Singh Ji Rathore. Talabgaon Castle was restored keeping the structure of the fort intact in its original form. The quadrangle consists of elements of painted glass depicting scenes of Indian mythology, made by local artisans from Jaipur. The stone pillars were brought in from the Rajasthani town of Sikandra. Wall carvings at the castle have been attained with the work of local artists from the town of Chaksu, 30kms from Talabgaon.

Talabgaon Castle Heritage Resort, located in heart of Rajasthan (previously known as Rajputana), is 1.3 hours drive south of Jaipur and 1.5 hours north of Sawai Modphur Tiger Reserve in Ranthambore. Talabgaon can be reached via Dausa (1.5 hours) and is 4.5 hours drive from Agra or 6 hours via Delhi via Alwar.
